Swamp Locket * Sterling & Fine Silver * Autumn
This one of a kind necklace is entirely handmade with a combination of fine .999 & .925 sterling silver sheet metal and wire. The silver has been aged in a liver of sulfer bath for a darker antique feel with hints of colored patina on the back plate! Every sterling ball has been formed individually with a torch and every silver jumpring and piece of wire has been cut, shaped, soldered, and polished by hand. The back is stamped with official .925 sterling and Haunted Cypress makers mark. This locket is an original design proudly made, owned, and copyrighted by Haunted Cypress Studios right here in South Louisiana!
This sterling silver locket displays a collection of southern flora that I’ve gathered on my adventures in the enchanting swamps and bayous of South Louisiana in Autumn, and features a Red Cardinal flower from the banks of Honey Island Swamp, Sweet Olive flowers, a piece of purple sugar cane stalk, pixi-cup lichen, and a white Alligatorweed flower plucked from the waters of Manchac Swamp. These delicate pieces are intentionally arranged and held in place with a thick 1"x 1/2" sheet of glass set with sterling silver prongs.
And with a dash of le joie de vivre, this pendant was made to spread southern soul healing, joyous feels to whoever may wear it. Comes with a complimentary 18” alloy metal chain so you can carry the magic of the swamps wherever you go!
Comes in a jewelry box with a twine bow and gator charm, so you can give it as a gift - or enjoy opening it as a gift for yourself;)

-Sterling back plate = Approx. 1" long including bail x .90" wide.
-Glass window= 1" x .50"
-Bail= Three seperate sterling soldered rings connect bail to chain.

*The window of this piece is made with real pieces of nature and glass and should NEVER be worn in water, in areas of extreme heat and humidity, or during strenuous activities. Dropping gemstones and glass cabs will likely result in damage to the piece, so be kind to your jewelry and wear with care! Please read Sterling Silver care instructions for further care information.

STERLING SILVER CARE
*STORAGE: While not being worn, it's best to store your silver jewelry at room
temperature in a dark space, preferably in an airtight bag. Avoid direct sunlight and
humidity, do not leave in a car or on a windowsill. If your piece does get wet, dry it
off immediately.
*WEARING: -Never submerge your silver jewelry in water. Some tap water may contain sulfur which will discolor the metal. While wearing, avoid contact with hairspray, perfumes, or lotions to prevent damage or discoloration. Never go to bed while wearing your jewelry.
Gemstones (Especially Louisiana Opals) can be very delicate and should never be worn during strenuous activities to avoid damage to the stone. Dropping gemstones and glass cabs will likely result in damage to the piece, so be kind to your jewelry and wear with care!
*MAINTENANCE: Sterling Silver may tarnish over time, to keep your sterling piece looking new, gently rub with a soft cotton polishing cloth until shine is restored. Doing this regularly will prevent tarnish altogether. The use of liquid chemical jewelry cleaner is highly discouraged.
